Source of Life Garden Vitamin K2
provides 120 mcg of plant-based vitamin K2 per capsule. Vitamin K2 is one of the fat-soluble vitamins. It is necessary for the regulation of blood clotting and the formation of new bones. The main forms are vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-4 (Mk-4) and menaquinone-7 (Mk-7).
Vitamin K2 as Mk-7 is absorbed much better than vitamin K1 because it is not bound to fiber. It is also better absorbed than Mk-4 because it is more fat-soluble.
